So this is a strange question, but does anyone know if classic battlefront 2 is cross platform?
I have it on pc and a friend of mine has it in his xbox one (as a game microsoft brought back from the original xbox), but i don't know if we can play together.
A little while ago, battlefront 2 was made available to the public.
In addition, it received a great deal of criticism for the manner in which it handled progressions and microtransactions.
But as of right moment, this is no longer the case.
Additionally, the game is free to play for ps plus members.
Will ea create a cross platform for star wars battlefront 2 so xbox and ps4 players can play together and play with their friends on.
However, even after a successful release and millions of copies sold, battlefront’s latest video game, part two, lost the win.
The reason being, players, were highly expecting.
This means that players from different platforms can’t play together in battlefront 2.
This game’s developers haven’t yet discovered a way to do this, at least not for now.
For now, at least, you're stuck playing with and against others who own the game on your platform of choice.

Ps2 has an unofficial online community for bf2, where you can get online and browse servers if you do some extra work.
But, this game was never cross platform even when all platforms has their servers up.
Xbox has xbox live and there is no more online more any games once xbox live shutdown (for the original xbox), you can tunnel games online.
Now though, the game has improved drastically and it’s one of the free ps plus.

There’s reasons why take two / r* never made gta 5 cross platform;
In fact they specifically avoided it.
Both of those aaa titles suffer from exploits and mods that erode the gameplay.
At the very least pc to pc can combat that but pc to console cannot.
Further you have to look at the nature of the game itself.
