The rings of power does things a little differently.
Sauron's not a fiery eye in the sky, but a man.
And not just any man, but one who has been under our noses this whole time.
While he had many criticisms, most of his had to do with the fact that it just doesn't stand up as a worthy prequel to peter jackson's original lord of the rings trilogy.
This series has a lot of promise, and it’s just now starting to fulfill that potential and become the exciting, epic drama that we all want it to be.
Here’s hoping that season 2 will.

It has a strong cast, the action is stellar, and the plots are interesting.
Yet, i was left wanting something.
There were more bluffs than a poker tournament.
This twisty finale, titled alloyed, felt like a fitting end for a series that has been slowly working out what it is over eight long.
In ‘alloyed,’ the rings of power goes around in circles to protect its mystery boxes.

The first 10 minutes of the opening episode set a fantastically busy, robust pace and tone.
It begins calmly and beautifully, with a very young galadriel sailing a paper ship in.
It’s an abrupt shift on her part from comrade in arms to wary guard, and one that seems more motivated by the showrunners’ desire to keep galadriel on the side of the angels.
This epic drama is set thousands of years before the events of j. r. r.
Tolkien's the hobbit and the lord of the rings, and will take viewers back to an era in which great powers were forged,.
