Martins Isoken Imhangbe is a British Actor who belonged to Nigeria, born on 7 July 1991. He is most famous for his works as Mondrich in the Bridgerton, Netflix series produced by Richard II in 2018.
Early Life – Education and Birth Place
Martins was born on 7 July in Edo State of Nigeria. He was raised in Greece till he was 7. Therefore he is fluent in Greek language. Later, He enrolled at Lewisham College for a BTEC diploma in Performing Arts after moving to South East London with his family. Firstly he could not be selected by the drama school so he studied Technical Theatre at Southwark College. Later he re-auditioned into Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
Struggle and Career
Imhangbe has played great roles in A Human Being Died That Night, Cinderella, and Romeo and Juliet. He was cast in Lionboy’s production Complicite which was an adaptation of Zizou Corder’s Trilogy. It was played from London to Off-Broadway and then in South Africa, Hong Kong, and South Korea. He starred in The Striker, Octagon in 2015 by London Productions, and in 2016 in Luce and The Royale.

Later in 2018, Martins was cast as Bart and the Duke of Aumerle in Richard II which was played at Almeida Theatre. For his works in Richard II, he was also nominated for an Ian Charleson Award. The same year, he visited Barber Shop Chronicles in Australia and New Zealand. He was also a part of Absolute Hell at the National Theatre.
Happy Loma in Death of a Salesman was also Imhangbe’s act at Young Vic opposite Wedell Pierce. Later he played his first onscreen role in 2020 in a Netflix series Bridgerton, as Will Mondrich.
