Growing ‘Stubborn’ Muscles

While Aline is known for her sculpted legs, she wasn’t always satisfied with them. In fact, when she initially took on weightlifting, Alina saw most improvements in her upper body. Her legs, on the other hand, weren’t catching up.

After months of experimentation, Alina came up with a new training routine. She started working her legs 3 times per week, instead of only once. She also increased exercise intensity.

Before long, this change in training paid off. Alina’s legs became stronger, curvier, and more toned than ever before. She now believes that focusing on weaker body parts and training them with a higher frequency is one of the best ways to make them grow.

Nutrition

Unlike many other fitness models, Aline Antiqueira doesn’t restrict her carbs. Her belief is that cutting out any food group is unhealthy for the body and mind.

In total, Aline will eat 100-200 grams of carbs per day. This will include foods such as quinoa, sweet potatoes, and brown rice.

Aline also has one day per week where she indulges in a ‘cheat meal’“Sometimes two, but I try to control myself,” says Aline.
